SRF 2018 Spring Open House--one-on-one research planning available

Learn how WVU Shared Research Facilities (SRF) can support your specific research projects at the SRF’s Spring Open House on the Evansdale Campus (ESB G-75D) on April 26th from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the Downtown Campus (402 and 427 White Hall) on April 27th from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

WVU PIs, research professors, and postdoctoral fellows are invited to sign up for a 30-minute, one-on-one working session with the SRF Managers of your choice to discuss details about how SRF’s instrumentation and our managers’ expertise could advance your research. The sessions will also allow you to develop good estimates of the number of hours and the associated costs to budget for instrumentation use in your upcoming proposals.

Are you a modeler? SRF may be able to help you, too. Discuss with us how we may be able to develop data to verify your models. If you can provide a raw sample, we may be able to prepare it for our instruments and run analyses for you at our internal hourly user assistance rate plus the cost of the instrument.
